Continuous Motion Dance Academy Instructors
Larika Clark is a California Certified Dance and Physical Education Teacher with over 15 years experience as a professional dancer and Choreographer. This includes dance and choreography experience includes working with artists like Destiny's Child, Usher and Snoop Dogg. Larika has extensive experience working with children of all ages and is an expert in creating dance performances with the highest quality theatrical elements. Larika previously owned and operated the Hollywood Edge Dance Studio in Tempe, AZ before returning to Los Angeles in 2011 and has been the high school dance director at New West Charter School since 2012. Larika obtained her Master's Degree from Arizona State University and Bachelor's Degree from Cal State Los Angeles.
Brittney McBride is a professional dancer and choreographer with over 20 years of experience. Brittney created the New West Charter Dance Program; quickly growing it from 40 students to over 150 in a few short years. Brittney earned her Bachelors degree in Dance and Psychology From UC Riverside; also earning the Gluck Arts Foundation Scholarship for four consecutive years. She furthered her training with tap professional fred strickler for four years at UC Riverside. She has been teaching jazz, hip hop and tap at dancers studio since 2004. Brittney was also a member of the prestigious LA/Orange County tap company Rhapsody in Taps, directed by Linda Sohl-Ellison, from 2008-2013. Brittney's extensive dance training began with Paul and Arlene Kennedy at Universal Dance Design and continues by taking master classes with Savion Glover, Gregg Poland and many others. Her passion for teaching children expanded her ideas to start her own summer dance intensive program. Continuous motion summer dance camp began in 2011 and has grown each year.
Born In Newport Beach, CA, Belle began her dance training at an early age. Belle spent her
summers training in New York City at School of American Ballet (SAB) and American Ballet
Theatre (ABT). At age 15, Belle was awarded 1st place in the Senior Division at Youth America
Grand Prix (YAGP) semi-finials, and went on to compete in the Final Round in New York City. That
same year, she was invited to join the ABT Jacqueline Kennedy Onasis School under the direcƟon
of Franco De Vita, where she worked with some of the top directors and choreographers. Belle
went on to receive her Bachelor of Arts in AdverƟsing and Dance at Southern Methodist
University. Belle’s teaching method is detailed and focused on aƩaining proper technique
and alignment. Her classes are fun and engaging with a rewarding environment for students to
learn and grow.
